Brook trout eggs transported in a bottle

This week, Lyman Moore Middle School received a bottle filled with more than 300 brook trout eggs.

Can you see the 2 eyes in the young eggs?

The 7th grade classes will raise the eggs in their classroom until they are ready to be released in early May as young fry.

As the trout develop, classes will learn about the characteristics of a healthy river and the pollutants that affect water quality.
