Clean Water Stewards Kick off at King Middle School!

Students at King Middle school kicked off their Clean Water Stewards Service Learning Program earlier this February with a day of water quality education!  Educators from the Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District and Doug Roncarati from Portland Water Resources joined students and faculty at King for their WaterWhys day.  Students tested for dissolved oxygen in tap water and learned how the City keeps pollution from entering our waterways.  We're so excited to be working with these kids and we're looking forward to their service learning project this spring!
